Briton recovers dentures lost 11 years earlier in Spain

His teeth are falling out: a Briton had the surprise of his life when he received from the Spanish authorities a denture lost eleven years earlier during a drunken evening in Spain.

On vacation in the popular seaside resort of Benidorm, Paul Bishop, 63, had lost his dentures, which he had misplaced, after vomiting in a bin, sick from drinking too much cider, according to the BBC. “When we headed to the next bar my friend turned to me and asked where my teeth were“, he told the British public audiovisual group. A search had proved futile. The dentures reappeared eleven years later, sent to his home in Stalybridge, near Manchester (north-west England), after being found in a Spanish dump. “They found my DNA and my address from UK files, and mailed“, he explained, “flabbergastedand photographed with the prosthesis in a plastic bag.
