On the occasion of the broadcast of the film Broken Arrow on Saturday February 26, 2022, from 8:55 p.m. on RTL9, Télé Star reveals which French actor John Travolta doubled for the last time in the French version of this feature film.
Released in cinemas in 1996, the movie called Broken Arrowworn by John Travolta and Christian Slater, will air Saturday, February 26, 2022, starting at 8:55 p.m. on RTL9. Directed by John Woothis feature film features the characters of Major Vic ‘Deak’ Deakins, played on screen by John Travoltaand Captain Riley Hale, performed by Christian Slater. The film begins with a boxing match between the two US Air Force pilots, where Deakins explains that you always have to surprise your opponent to win. He wins the game. Tan, who considers Deakins his mentorgives him the ticket corresponding to the bet on the match, telling him that he had stolen it from his belongings.
The two pilots are assigned to a top-secret B-3 stealth aircraft mission. This fictitious plane, which would be an advanced version of the B-2 Spirit bomber, is loaded with armed nuclear bombs. They take off from Whiteman Air Force Base for a mission over Utah. They manage to evade pursuit radars by implementing their stealth. Deakins strikes up a friendly conversation to distract Hale, then he pulls out a gun. A struggle ensues, Deakins tries to drop the charges, but Hale stops him. Eventually Deakins triggers Hale’s ejection, and drops both bombs. He states over the radio that Hale has lost control and ejects before the plane crashes.
Broken Arrow: Daniel Russo lends his voice to John Travolta one last time
After doubling John Travolta in the trilogy Hi Mom !, actor Daniel Russo once again lends his voice to the Hollywood starin the French version of this feature film. Broken Arrow will however be the last film in which the comedian dubs the American actor. During his career, Daniel Russo has lent his voice to several major Hollywood stars in various films. For example, he dubbed Harvey Keitel in cult feature films such as: Thelma and Louise, Reservoir Dogsor even Pulp Fiction. Daniel Russo also lent his voice to Dnny de Vito in 4 films, but also to Alec Baldwin on two feature films.
