Brooke Shields and her daughter Rowan have a common memory from now on: Both had a ladybug tattoo.

Actress Brooke Shields, 56, is bursting with pride: Her daughter Rowan, 18, graduated last week. For this special occasion, the mother-daughter duo got a tattoo together. Snapshots of it presented Brooke Shields to her followers on Instagram.

The two chose a ladybug as their motif. A lucky bug now adorns the actress’s wrist and her daughter’s ankle. Shields wrote: “A special graduation gift and memory with my girl.” She is “so proud” and loves her daughter “more than words can express”.

Mother and daughter also posed together in a picture with tattoo artist Hrukti Kokayi, who had previously engraved the motifs for them in a studio in New York.

Rowan Henchy wore Golden Globes gown to graduation

A few days earlier, Brooke had Shields Photos and videos of daughter Rowan’s graduation ceremony published. A particularly emotional moment for the former teen star from “The Blue Lagoon” (1980): For her prom, Rowan wore a red robe that her mother had presented in 1998 at the Golden Globes.

After her marriage to tennis star Andre Agassi (1997-1999), Brooke Shields married screenwriter Chris Henchy (57) in 2001. Daughter Rowan was born in 2003, and their second daughter, Grier Hammond Henchy, was born in 2006.
