Is Nicola Peltz Beckham cooking so badly that she would starve? At least that’s what her husband Brooklyn Beckham joked about.
Love goes through the stomach? Apparently not in the house Brooklyn Beckham (24). While he lives out his passion for cooking, he now complained about his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham’s (29) lack of kitchen skills. When asked if she could cook, he answered uncharacteristically: “Not to save her life!”
He learned to cook from his father
In an interview with the British newspaper “The Times” the eldest son of David (48) and Victoria Beckham (49) spoke about how he learned to cook from his famous father. “My father was always the one cooking in the house, my mother not so much,” he explained. “I just loved hanging out in the kitchen with him, I loved the smell of food.”
The Beckham scion has been sharing cooking content on social media for several years and also hosted a Facebook series from 2021 to 2022 called “Cookin’ with Brooklyn”. In it he cooked together with professional chefs or celebrities. The 24-year-old said that the next generation of Beckhams – he and his three siblings – now meet to cook. “We never say it’s like a competition, even if we get on each other’s nerves a little bit – that’s just what brothers do. All of us in the kitchen. Just listening to music, cooking together, it’s fun. ” It is simply “the best”. His wife, to whom he has been married since 2022, does not seem to share the Beckham clan’s passion for cooking. She apparently takes more after her mother-in-law Victoria.
He takes criticism calmly
However, Brooklyn Beckham has had to take some criticism for his cooking videos. Because he presented some simple dishes such as pasta sauce and sandwiches, he was ridiculed. In an interview, he was calm about this: “I always wish the haters all the best. I’m just doing what I love: staying healthy, being happy, and that’s exactly it. There will always be people out there They try to pull you down.”
