The accident occurred shortly before 12 p.m. The 64-year-old was driving his car through the municipality of Lechaschau. According to the police, he turned east on Pfarrsweg onto Lechtaler Straße. “While turning, there was a collision with the 53-year-old, who was crossing a protective path.” The pedestrian was seriously injured in the crash. After initial treatment on site, he was admitted to the Rette district hospital.
