Bruce Springsteen: Incredible chart record for "The Boss"

His nickname is not "The Boss" for nothing: Bruce Springsteen has achieved with his new album what no one before him has done.

Bruce Springsteen (71, "I'm On Fire") has released a new album – and has thus secured a title that nobody else has. He is the only artist in music history who has placed at least one album in the top five in each of the past six decades. That reports "Billboard". Springsteen's 20th studio album, "Letter To You", went straight to second place in the charts on October 23, 2020.

According to "Billboard," "The Boss" had two top five releases in the 1970s, five in the 1980s, three in the 1990s, six in the two thousand and four in the following decade and now his current one. Despite all these successes, the album "Born In The U.S.A." from 1984, Springsteen's most successful release and one of the best-selling albums of all time.
