Cheers in Hanover: Bruce Springsteen will play his only concert in Germany in July 2024 in the capital of Lower Saxony.

Cheers in the Lower Saxony state capital: Rock superstar Bruce Springsteen (74) will be appearing in Hanover next summer for his only concert in Germany. As he announced via Instagram, the “Boss” and his E Street Band will rock the Heinz von Heiden Arena on July 5, 2024 after recovering from health problems. Traditional major concert cities such as Berlin and Cologne will also be left empty-handed in 2024. The gig in Hanover is part of a stadium tour with 22 concerts across Europe, starting on May 5, 2024 in Cardiff, Wales.

Connection to the 2023 tour

When Springsteen returns to Europe with his cult band next May, he wants to continue his extremely successful tour this year. In June and July this took him to Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Munich, among other places. The “Boss” once again proved to a total of 1.6 million fans that he still has it. Despite all his successes since the 80s, the 74-year-old stands for values such as down-to-earthness and authenticity among his fans like no other.

How fit is the “boss”?

His worldwide fan base has been all the more worried about their hero since September. At the beginning of September, the cult rocker announced that, on medical advice, he had to cancel all concert dates in the USA until the end of the year. The reason: Springsteen was diagnosed with symptoms of a stomach ulcer that required treatment. Four weeks ago, however, Springsteen gave the all-clear via Instagram. His message: I am on the road to full recovery. So nothing stands in the way of the concerts next year. Springsteen fans in Germany and Europe can look forward to live performances by their “boss” again. Advance sales for the tour dates start on November 8th.
