Bruce Willis, 67, says goodbye to the spotlight. His family is now sharing this via Instagram. This is due to a degenerative brain disease.
Shock diagnosis: Bruce Willis suffers from aphasia
As the family of the successful actor announced on Instagram, Bruce suffers from what is known as aphasia, a degenerative brain disease that causes severe speech disorders. “We would like to inform you that Bruce has health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia. As a result, Bruce will give up the career that means so much to him.“ writes the family in an emotional post.
Support from the whole family
The emotional post was shared by both daughter Rumer33, as well as his wife Emma Heming Willis43, and ex-wife demi Moore, 59, shared. All refer to the same lines and emphasize the cohesion of the blended family. “This is a very challenging time for our family and we greatly appreciate the compassion, support and love. We’re getting through this as a strong family, but we want to share this news with his fans because we know you mean as much to him as you do to him“.
