His record win at the 12 Coups de midi allowed him to change his life. The 30-year-old returns for Le Club des invincibles, Saturday June 4 at 9:05 p.m. on France 2.
TV star: What does your daily life look like since your victory at the 12 noon shots?
Bruno Hourcade: I experienced an incredible thing that only happens once! I have an easier life because with a lot of money, it’s always easier. I lost my job and today, I take care of placing my earnings (a little over a million euros, editor’s note) in rental investments. It gives me time to think about what’s next. It’s a luxury.
Have you given yourself any little pleasures?
Mostly rest. And I realized a dream: to go to the United States, to Orlando, with my cousin and his girlfriend because I am a big fan of amusement parks. We loved it !
How does a shy person like you cope with this sudden notoriety?
I live it quietly because people are kind and benevolent. I’m not Madonna, there is no hysteria around me!
How was your selection for The Invincible Club from France 2?
Nagui texted me. I thought it was a joke but Kevin, a former candidate Do not forget the lyrics, confirmed that it was his number. I accepted immediately. I liked that we don’t play, as in the first edition, against celebrities but against anonymous people.
Why ?
It was impossible to beat the celebrities on their favorite subject. Last year, Sylvie Tellier had chosen the Miss France theme, no one in this country could beat her! There it is different, it will be questions of general culture.
How are you preparing for this new challenge?
With the other three invincibles (Gregory of Everyone has a sayas well as Marie-Christine and Sandrina,champions of Everyone wants to take its place, note), we discovered that we were compatible. As a result, everyone focuses their revisions on the areas that are theirs. The strategic aspect and group work is new for me and super interesting. There’s a good energy between us, we’re in “camping” mode but we’re above all there to defend the honor of the Club!
