Bryan Adams was infected with Corona. He had to cancel his appearance at Tina Turner’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Bad news for Bryan Adams (61): The rock musician was infected with the corona virus and therefore had to cancel a performance at short notice. The “Heaven” interpreter should according to “Billboard” performed last Saturday (October 30th) together with R&B star HER (24) at Tina Turner’s (81) induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Together they would have performed the Turner song “It’s Only Love”. Music colleague Keith Urban (54) jumped in as a duet partner.

Bryan Adams is “symptom free”

A spokesman for the Canadian confirmed to the music magazine that the singer was infected with Corona. The 61-year-old was “fully vaccinated and free of symptoms”. When Adams got infected and when exactly he canceled the performance, the speaker did not answer.

Bryan Adams and Tina Turner recorded the single “It’s Only Love” in 1985, which made it to number 15 on the US charts. On Saturday the “Queen of Rock” was inducted into the Hall of Fame for the second time. In 1991 she was integrated with her ex-husband Ike Turner (1931-2007). The 81-year-old did not appear in person at the event – she was connected via video. Actress Angela Bassett (63), the Turner in “Tina – What’s Love Got to Do with It?” (1993) embodied, hosted the evening.
