BTS: K-pop stars are already back with new music

In February BTS released a new album, now the K-Pop stars are back with new music.

In February, the Korean album "Map of the Soul: 7" by K-Pop superstars BTS reached number one in both the US and German charts. Now they are back with a new long player a few months later. The Japanese album "Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~" will be released on Friday (August 7th) – both in a standard version and in four limited versions. In addition to four new songs, the album also features Japanese versions of the hits "ON", "Black Swan" and "Make It Right".

The new long player is the fourth Japanese album by BTS and the eighth of their career. The K-Pop stars should have another album in the pipeline this year. On August 21, BTS will release a new single, which should be the first harbinger for a new long player, as the band said according to "Billboard" on the South Korean live streaming service "V Live".

First appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards

"We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but we decided to release a single first because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible," the band announced. "Because of Covid-19, people around the world have had tough times and we wanted to give our fans some positive energy."

The Bangtan Boys are apparently not restricted by the Corona crisis: their big world tour was postponed due to the pandemic, their fans, called Army, but still want to offer live performances. On August 30th they will present the new single "Dynamite" for the first time live at the MTV Video Music Awards.

In April the band came up with a consolation for the Army for the unusual tour: BTS launched the so-called "Bang Bang Con" on their YouTube channel. Live performances by the seven-man troupe from 2013 to 2018 could be seen for a whole weekend.

BTS can also be seen again in the cinema

Fans can also look forward to a new concert film. "Break The Silence: The Movie" will be released in cinemas in September. It is BTS 'fourth film. The strip accompanies the band on their world tour "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" and provides a look behind the scenes.
