Buckingham Palace: Queen employee tested positive for Corona

Queen Elizabeth II (93) left Buckingham Palace and London a few days ago and moved to Windsor Castle just outside the capital. So far, it has been assumed that the head of the British royal family in the Corona crisis had decided to move on Thursday only out of pure caution. But now the British "The Sun" reports that a Queen employee had recently been tested positive for the corona virus.

The employee is said to be an advisor to the Queen, and no name was given. It is also unknown how close he worked with the Queen. The personnel who came into contact with the infected were sent into domestic quarantine, according to the "Sun". "The employee tested positive for the virus before the Queen left for Windsor," an insider told the paper. There are over 500 employees in the palace, so it is likely that more people would have been infected.

The Queen and her husband Prince Philip (98) are at Windsor Castle. According to "The Sun", a TV address to the Queen about the current situation is planned soon. Her Majesty's "voice" should help calm the situation.
