However, the number of amendments adopted and inspired by the opposition remains low. All the amendments adopted would have cost 8 billion euros, argues Bercy.

Among the most significant, the tax credit ceiling for the care of young children outside the home is increased, in accordance with an amendment supported by the majority. It goes from 2,300 to 3,500 euros. “It helps people to find work”, we defend at Bercy.

Small and medium-sized enterprises will be entitled to the reduced corporate tax rate up to 42,500 euros of taxable profits and no longer 38,000 euros in accordance with a request from the MoDem, the party associated with the majority, which will cost 170 million euros. euros. As for the ceiling of restaurant tickets that companies can grant, it will drop from 11.84 to 13 euros (140 million). Finally, a half tax share for the widows of veterans is restored after 60 years, for 133 million euros, in accordance with an amendment adopted by the Finance Committee. The exceptional tax on superdividends, however proposed by the MoDem and adopted with the support of 19 Renaissance deputies, was rejected. Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of Economy and Finance, opposed it by putting his resignation in the balance.
