Which weapon to choose for this bleeding build on Elden Ring?

For this Elden Ring build, we are going to focus on one weapon in particular, the Blood Spiral! This is a heavy thrusting sword that you will be able to find in the ruins of Bloodswarm which are located on the Altus Plateau. as you can see on the map below.

There you will have to beat the boss of the place, the Bloody Noble. Once that’s done, keep moving forward and when you’re in the last room, open the chest to come across this famous Bloody Spiral which will focus mainly on esotericism and dexterity.

You will also look to have a second weapon in this build, even if you will never attack with it. Indeed, take a dagger on which you can put the war ashes of the “Golden Oath”. Yes, because like many builds, you’re going to want to take advantage of incantations to buffer yourself and the “Golden Oath” is perfect for that.

Except that in order not to have to invest in faith, we go here to look for his war ashes and not his invocation! This therefore allows not to equip yourself with a seal and instead put a shield in addition to our Blood Spiral, which will allow you to harass your enemies while being protected.

As has been said, the Blood Spiral is a weapon that focuses on dexterity and esotericism. Except that of these two statistics, there is one that will interest us more than the other, the second. Go up to around 75 points in the latter on your game.

For dexterity, you don’t need to have more than 20 points in it. Of course, always bet on the forty points in force so as not to make yourself one-shot, but overall, you will seek to invest almost all your points in esotericism.

Equipment pieces to choose

It’s a classic of builds based on bleeding, the White Mask is obviously the only piece of armor that you will absolutely want to recover given that the latter will give you attack power in case of bleeding nearby.

As for talismans, we will find classics once again for a bleeding build with the “Alexander Fragment” which increases the power of skills, the “Ritual Sword Talisman” which increases attack power when the HP is at the maximum or the “Exultation of the Blood Lord” which buffs the attack power in the event of bleeding. However, we will choose last, the “Talisman of the Spear” which buffs counterattacks from thrusting weapons.

As for the vial of tears, we are going to go with the “Stone Sting Cracked Tear” to break the posture more easily. The second will be her, the “thorny cracked tear” which temporarily increases the power of successive attacks.

But then, exactly, how do you play this bleeding build around the Blood Spiral? Already, before the fight, use the “Golden Oath” and your vial of tears to boost yourself in a fairly classic way. Afterwards, you can build up the bleeding pretty quickly.

Use your shield to protect yourself, while attacking with the Blood Spiral. You will see that the bleeding gauge increases quite quickly on this weapon. And then, for big attacks, use the latter’s ability which is a dodge followed by a counterattack.

At first, mastering the timing can be a bit complicated. However, when you have it in mind, this ability will become your best friend, allowing you not only to avoid damage, but also to inflict quite a bit in return!
