Yun Jin made a big splash alongside Shenhe earlier this year on Genshin Impact. In order to help you get the most out of this 4-star Geo character, here is the best build for Yun Jin to adopt.

Introduced in Genshin Impact patch 2.4 alongside Shenhe, Yun Jin quickly turned many heads. It must be said that this talented opera singer and famous playwright has everything to please, but do not trust her sweet voice, once on the battlefield, she does not lace.

This 4-star Geo support can work wonders, especially if it fits into that normal attack-focused team.

Attack: Cloud Caress

  • Normal attack: Yun Jin performs up to 5 consecutive rapid strikes with his spear.

Yun Jin’s best build relies on using the Shell of Opulent Dreams, which increases his defense by 30%, while giving him Curiosity stacks. As Yun Jin’s abilities are designed to support his team and absorb DMG, having a set that directly increases his defensive abilities and Geo damage is a must.

If you want Yun Jin to deal some DMG as well, rather than using 4 Shells, better bet on Ancient Rock as well. This artifact will increase Yun Jin’s Geo damage bonus by 15% as well as his party’s.

Who to play Yun Jin with?

Yun Jin can work wonders in multiple teams, but the best characters to use with her are Zhongli, Bennett, and Xingqiu. Zhongli is an incredibly powerful 5-star character that suits most team compositions, his damage and survivability will be greatly improved in this scenario.

Indeed, the power of the shields of Yun Jin and Zhongli is thus increased by 15%, while the allies protected by the shields see their damage increased by 15%. Attacks will also reduce their opponents Geo Resistance by 20% for 15s.

As if that buff wasn’t already enough, Bennett and Xingqui set the bar even higher. If a character’s health in Bennett’s ultimate is above 70%, they gain an attack bonus that is based on their base attack. Which shouldn’t be a problem for Yun Jin or Zhongli, as their shields will easily limit enemy damage.
