When PlayStation acquired Bungie, the brand’s ambition was clear: to strengthen its gaming service division, but also to expand its possibilities with regard to other media. sony clearly wants to see his licenses playstation be brought to the small and big screen and it started with a lot of projects in progress or already released, such as the film Uncharted or the series The Last of Us. With Bungie in its catalog, it is now the entire universe of destiny that the manufacturer has in his hands for a potential adaptation, and if we are to believe the job offers, something is going on behind the scenes.
Serial Destiny?
VGC indicates that a job offer to become Senior Producer – Linear Media within Bungie was posted recently. This offer then asks candidates to have ” experience with licensed products, and/or animation, script development for television or with programming. The job would also require really to know well destiny and his universepotentially to better adapt it.
The VGC site then reports that this may echo the recent arrival of Derick Tsai, who previously worked at Riot Games designing the shorts. He is now at Bungie as Director of Universe Development. destiny in the transmedia category.
What largely think that Bungie is preparing one or more adaptations, in particular television, of its flagship license, even if it is still too early to be certain.
