Bungie is reportedly preparing a Destiny mobile game with NetEase


It is no longer very rare to see successful FPS being entitled to their counterpart on mobile, as evidenced by Apex Legends Mobile or license games call of duty. It could be that the next license to go eyeing on the side of the mobile market is destinysince The Game Post site tells us that Bungie is currently working to bring its flagship license to these platforms.

A mobile game that would have been in development for two years

The site in question indicates that it has spotted the mention of a ” Unannounced Mobile FPS on an artist page from NetEase, indicating that they work in collaboration with Bungie. The Game Post adds that a source close to the Chinese publisher would have specified thatit would be a mobile game destiny, which the studio has reportedly been working on for two years now. It could be this Destiny mobile game is completely different from Destiny 2and is not a simple port, but a title in its own right.

VGC also reminds us that NetEase is one of Bungie’s shareholders, having invested $100 million in the studio. Develop a mobile game destiny would also be in line with the wishes of PlayStation, which now owns the studio and which wishes to decline its flagship licenses on mobiles.
