A special operation was held in Stockholm by the vegetable products brand Oumph !. Present in several countries, she decided to sell cannibalistic burgers for a day.
Among the questions that no one wants answered is the one the taste of human meat. However, Oumph !, a company that sells plant products, decided to take up the challenge. A few days after Halloween, she sold cannibalistic burgers for an hour, replicating the flavor supposedly human flesh should have. Obviously, no human has been mistreated to make this recipe. Moreover, no animal trace was detected in these fast food products since it was purely and simply an advertising campaign. The goal? Proving that vegan food can be as tasty as animal-based food.
“We really want to push some boundaries to show that we can make herbal products which look like any kind of meat. For us, the most humane way to eat a burger is a plant-based burger“, explained Henrik Åkerman, Marketing Director of Oumph !, as reported miss. To create this particular taste, the brand spent several hours finding the perfect flavor. Thus, the steaks were composed mainly of soja, mushroom, wheat protein, vegetable fat and a blend of spices that the brand wanted to keep secret. We must keep a part of mystery. Finally, the vegetable meat tasted similar to that of pork or veal.

To accompany this publicity stunt, Oumph! released a promotional video, horror movie look. The atmosphere is heavy, the decor looks like that of a serial killer or slaughterhouse warehouse. Except instead of killing humans or animals, the person in question tortures vegetables. “At Oumph !, we diverts plants into any flavor of meat imaginable.
