On Tuesday morning, a car was completely engulfed in flames next to Kärntner Straße in the Villach-Warmbad area. Several firefighters were on duty.
“We are currently on the way to the scene,” confirmed Harald Geissler, commander of the Villach main fire station, after several eyewitnesses reported a burning vehicle in the Villach-Warmbad area around 7 a.m. on Tuesday. When the emergency services arrived at the parking lot next to Kärntner Straße, the car was already fully engulfed in flames. “The fire was fought using a high-pressure extinguishing line from the tank fire truck. “But the car burned out almost completely,” explains operations manager Bernhard Selan. It is currently unclear why the fire started. Luckily no one was injured.
