In an interview with Kurt Krömer, Bushido tells how the last few years have strained his psyche and what he thinks of his police protection.

Kurt Krömer (46) has Bushido (43) for a conversation in his Interrogation talk show “Chez Krömer” and asked the former gangsta rapper about his relationship with Abou Chakar, the police and his job.

Right at the start, Krömer asks the rapper in the half-hour conversation how much he regrets his collaboration with the Abou Chakar clan. “I regret a lot, but above all what happened in the last few years, not what happened 20 years ago,” said Bushido. “The last three or four years have been pretty tough. I would have liked it to have been different.”

First fled from the police

Bushido and his family are now under police protection – which has also changed his opinion of the police. When she was at his home for the first time – to protect him – it was so strange for him that he first fled directly up one floor. “When I’m out with them, it’s still a strange feeling. Not because they’re monsters, but because I’ve screwed up a lot of shit in my life.”

His children are also under police protection, for example on their way to school. When asked whether he stole his family’s freedom, Bushido says: “I am responsible for quite a lot of cheese that my wife and children now have to endure. That was one of the biggest reasons why I started there, to rethink. “

Depression, anxiety, panic attacks

His mental health would also have suffered from the past few years. “Two months ago my wife wanted to have me admitted,” says Bushido, listing: “Depression, anxiety, panic attacks …” It is not nice not to know how life will go on. “But I’ll get out of there,” said Bushido confidently. In the meantime he could very well live without the public, announces Bushido: “At some point I’ll be away from the window. I have made up my mind.”

However, he does not have a variable in his own hands. His six-year-old son Issa recently told him that when he grows up, he’ll also want to rap. Bushido: “I like that: Shit, dude. Please don’t. I’ll give you everything you want, but no rap, please.”

With the recently born triplet daughters, Bushido’s wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi (40) is now the mother of eight children. The couple, who have been married since 2012, already have four children together, including twins. Sarah Connor’s sister (41) also brought a son into the marriage.
