Buy photo wonders in the contract: an overview of camera phones at o2

No feature is as popular on current smartphones as high-quality cameras. Our list of the best camera smartphones is visited just as often as our biannual camera blind test. If you fell in love with a smartphone in the two articles, you may have to dig deep into your pocket. The photo wonders of 2022 are called iPhone 13 Pro Max, Galaxy S22 Ultra and Google Pixel 6 Pro!

In this article, we will introduce you to the three most popular camera phones in the NextPit community in a contract with o2. In doing so, we focus on the contract that we think you should at least choose with o2: the o2 Free M with 20 gigabytes of data volume and 5G included. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max from 1 euro additional payment

Let’s start with the winner of our last camera blind test: The iPhone 13 Pro Max, which won the most votes in the blind test. Means the NextPit community liked the photos of the classy iPhone the best without knowing that it was the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The mobile phone is available from o2 for a deposit of just one euro. Another tip if videos are your thing: video recordings in Apple’s ProRes format are only available from 512 gigabytes of storage space. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from 1 euro additional payment

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was presented just a few weeks ago. Therefore, you can only pre-order the cell phone at o2. The high-end cell phone will then be delivered from February 25, 2022. The costs for the o2 Free M contract can be found below:

We haven’t tested the Galaxy S22 Ultra yet, you can only find a hands-on from the Unpacked event on NextPit. But we can already see from the previous model, the S21 Ultra, that the quality of the photos is right. With a 108-megapixel main camera, an ultra wide-angle camera and two telephoto cameras, Samsung repeatedly gets top marks for its ultra models.

Google Pixel 6 Pro – the cheapest option

The cheapest camera flagship in the still young year 2022 is the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The cell phone started at a recommended retail price of 899 euros and is therefore almost 350 euros cheaper than the alternatives in this article. Accordingly, the contracts with o2 are a little cheaper.

The highlight of the Pixel 6 Pro: Google’s powerful software that gets the most out of the cell phone’s sensor data. But the Pixel 6 Pro also has a triple camera with an ultra wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera. The “Tag Nix” at o2

If you buy an expensive mobile phone from o2, you are also protected by the “Tag Nix”. This is how o2 describes the reduction in contract costs after 24 months. So you pay a surcharge for your mobile phone for 24 months and then only pay the conditions of the chosen contract. Of course you can also cancel and switch, the tag nothing is basically a safeguard.

As further advantages at o2 you can expect bonus payments when you take your number with you, one of the best networks in Germany, which was rated “very good” by the colleagues at Connect and o2 will also be canceling the connection fee in February 2022.
