- Sony regularly offers the PS5 via PlayStation Direct.
- The sales are exclusive with few exceptions.
- In order to participate, you must first register with PlayStation Direct.
You can buy the PS5 from Sony at least once a month over the last few months. In the context of exclusive sales, however, the manufacturer usually only makes the offers available to customers who are registered with PlayStation Direct for these sales.
This is the situation on June 24th
10:38 am: Sony regularly sells PS5 consoles via the Dircet platform. The manufacturer currently has no prospect of a drop, but if you want to secure a PS5, you can prepare yourself just in case.

You can register with PlayStation Direct to be notified of upcoming sales, and many sales on the platform are for registered users only. Maybe you’re lucky and will soon receive an invitation to such an exclusive event.

However, the chances that there will be a sale at Sony this week are rather slim. Since they generally do not take place on weekends, only the last three days of this week remain as possible dates, i.e. June 29th and 30th and July 1st (Wednesday to Friday).
However, since there was only a direct sale last week, we assume that no further will follow this week. It is unlikely, if not impossible, for two direct sales to take place so quickly in a row.
Because in 2022 there was already the case that two direct sales took place within a few days. But it’s the big exception.
How PlayStation Direct sales work
After you sign up, you’ll get feedback from Sony about an upcoming sale. If you have received an invitation by email, you can take part in the sale. All you have to do to make the purchase is your PSN data.
You can pay with Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. We also advise you to visit the sales page on time so that you are at the front of the queue. Participation in the promotion does not guarantee a PS5.
