On July 26, Samsung presented numerous innovations at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. In addition to the new foldables Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 and the brand new tablet Galaxy Tab S9, smartwatch lovers can now also look forward to the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 (Classic) models.

And that’s not all, because Saturn is offering you a free Fabric Band and a purchase bonus of at least 75 euros for your old device as part of the pre-order campaign. The promotion is valid until August 10, 11:59 p.m. To secure your free wristband, you must register your device with Samsung on this website by the end of August. The bracelet will then be sent to you.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is available for pre-order from Saturn in the 40mm variant in Gold and Graphite designs. For the 44mm model, you can choose between Graphite and Silver. With the Classic variant, only the colors Graphite and Silver are available.

What can you expect from the new smartwatches?

Samsung advertises the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic with new tools and even more customization options. In this way, personal vital signs should be monitored even better and appropriate recommendations given.

With the improved fitness functions, Samsung promises a more detailed overview of personal body composition and measures, among other things, skeletal muscles, basal metabolic rate, body water and body fat percentage. The new “Personalized Heart Rate Zone” function is intended to determine individual physical performance and five heart rate zones so that appropriate goals can be set.

The Galaxy Watch 6 series models have received a customized interface. The enlarged display is intended to ensure that the new interactive and informative dials can be read more easily. According to the manufacturer, the bezel has been made slimmer by 30 percent and 15 percent respectively.

The new Samsung Wallet, a combination of Samsung Pay with the Samsung Pass, is now also available for the new Galaxy Watch series. ID cards, event tickets, boarding passes, credit cards or membership cards, among other things, can be conveniently stored on the smartwatch. As a new extension, WhatsApp should also enable users to reply to messages or accept calls without having to take their smartphone out of their pocket.
