Buying a new iPhone? Here is the ideal charger to go with

In the category of coincidences no way premeditated, Anker unveiled a few days ago its new Anker 511 (Nano 3) charger and its Anker 541 and 543 cables, two accessories that will perfectly accompany the new Apple iPhone 14.

These accessories are available in several colors and have been designed with sustainability and plastic waste reduction in mind. They also take up much less space in your pockets and bags than the standard Apple charger. The Nano 3 is sold for 24.99 euros and the cables are sold from 19.99 euros.

The Nano 3 charger is the latest addition to the Nano range at Anker. The main selling point of this charging pad is its ability to output 30W despite its reduced size (thanks to the use of gallium nitride). Although almost the same size as Apple’s standard 5W charger, the Nano 3 charges an iPhone three times faster than its competitor.

Its compact design not only makes it more convenient to carry, but also reduces the amount of plastic used, which reduces its carbon footprint. Anker claims the Nano 3 was built using 30.9g less plastic than comparable chargers.

The main difference between the Nano II and the Nano 3 is that the newer model is “more secure”, according to Anker. The Nano 3 uses ActiveShield 2.0 technology that intelligently monitors charger temperature more than three million times a day to adjust power output and protect connected devices.

The charger also supports the PPS standard (Programmable Power Supply) which modifies in real time the voltage and the current according to the state of charge of a device. This makes it a suitable charger for all mobile devices including laptops, phones and tablets. The PPS also makes the charger compatible with the Super Fast Charging from Samsung.

Bio-based cables: Anker 541 (USB-C to Lightning) and Anker 543 (USB-C to USB-C)

Anker has also launched two new “eco-friendly” cables: the Anker 541 (USB-C to Lightning) and the Anker 543 (USB-C to USB-C). These cables have been designed using a blend of plant-based materials to reduce the amount of plastic used.

“As a global leader in mobile charging, it is our responsibility to explore ways to reduce the e-waste impact of our products and packaging,” said Steven Yang, CEO of Anker Innovations. “These bio-based cables are just the first step, and we are excited to drive this eco-innovation for both our company and the consumer electronics industry as a whole. »
