I remember very well this announcement from Apple, justified for ecological reasons. And to have been knocked down by the brand’s fanboys when I was talking about “Green washing”.
I persist, Apple’s argument being as they justify it for the purpose of preserving the environment: we remove chargers and headphones for the purpose of less waste, less pollution… the sums saved will therefore, in their entirety , donated to NGOs fighting against global warming.
The same goes for all the profits generated by the royalties collected by the sale of the MFI certified products of all the MFI cables and chargers which one must now buy separately from the telephone on Amazon and consorts.
