Denza has revealed the luxurious interior of the Denza N9, featuring an impressive dashboard with three screens, including a passenger touchscreen and a ceiling-mounted monitor for rear passengers. Designed for six with first-class comfort, it offers amenities like a mini refrigerator and high-end sound by Devialet. The SUV will come in plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions, boasting up to 965 horsepower. Expected starting price in China is around 50,000 euros, potentially rising to 100,000 euros in Europe.
In a captivating short video shared on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, Denza has unveiled the stunning interior of the Denza N9, leaving viewers in awe with its impressive design.
Impressive Display with Three Screens!
The dashboard of the Denza N9 is a sight to behold, featuring not one, but three expansive screens. Behind the steering wheel sits a digital gauge that takes up the entire space, providing a plethora of customization options. The central infotainment screen is reminiscent of average-sized televisions from a decade ago, while an additional touchscreen is positioned in front of the passenger, perfect for displaying vehicle information or enjoying entertainment.
This passenger screen is not entirely new to the automotive world, as similar features are found in various European models, including the Audi Q6 e-tron, Audi A6 e-tron, Mercedes EQS and its SUV counterpart, as well as the Porsche Macan.
With three screens upfront, rear passengers might feel left out. However, Denza has addressed this by installing a high-definition monitor in the ceiling that allows for movie streaming, reminiscent of an in-flight experience.
Luxury Comfort Awaits
The retractable screen is centrally located, ensuring that all rear passengers can enjoy it as they sit in luxurious, first-class-like comfort.
Denza has designed the N9 to accommodate six passengers, featuring individual seating in the back with armrests, reclining capabilities, and footrests. This SUV offers a level of comfort comparable to premium sedans like the BMW i7.
To enhance the experience further, a mini refrigerator is cleverly integrated into the central armrest between the front seats, providing refreshments for the two rear passengers.
Top-of-the-Line Features
While we could delve into the panoramic roof, four-zone automatic climate control, elegant wood accents, dual wireless phone chargers, and window blinds, these elements are not unique to the N9.
Instead, let’s focus on the sound system that makes the Denza N9 stand out. It boasts speakers designed by the renowned French manufacturer Devialet, whose name is prominently displayed on the intricately crafted speaker grilles. This collaboration is a nod to the growing appeal of French brands in China.
Several speakers are strategically placed throughout the vehicle, with three located in the dashboard and two in each door. Although it remains unclear if this audio system will match the high standards set by the Phantom Gold speakers, Devialet’s reputation ensures it will deliver an impressive auditory experience.
Already featured in models like the Alpine A290 and other Denza vehicles, Devialet joins the ranks of famous sound system manufacturers such as Bose, Harman Kardon, Bang & Olufsen, and more.
A Powerhouse with 965 Horsepower!
With all these luxurious features, the Denza N9 certainly requires substantial power to support its weight. Denza plans to offer two versions of this impressive SUV.
The first variant is a plug-in hybrid that generates an astounding 925 horsepower through a combination of two electric motors and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. While the thermal engine contributes to the overall power, it is clear that the electric motors will play a significant role in achieving this impressive figure.
The second version will be fully electric, utilizing three electric motors to reach a staggering total power output of 965 horsepower. This positions the N9 alongside high-performance models such as the Audi RS e-tron GT Performance, Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, and Tesla Model S Plaid!
Remarkably, the starting price for the Denza N9 in China is expected to be around 50,000 euros, making it an attractive option compared to its competitors. However, if Denza decides to roll out this model in Europe, the price could escalate to approximately 100,000 euros, reflecting the market dynamics on the continent.
