ELLE International is going fur-free
“Bye bye, Fur!” is the motto from now on at ELLE International. The decision to say goodbye to Echtfurz in his magazines affects all 45 print editions of the well-known fashion magazine, as well as the online presence and social media. While 13 issues already do without fur, 20 more issues of the ELLE group will follow at the beginning of next year. It should be all global editions by early 2023.
“It is an opportunity for ELLE to raise awareness about animal welfare, fuel demand for sustainable and innovative alternatives and create a more humane fashion industry,” says Valéria Bessolo, International Director of ELLE.

Mocha Chocolate is the absolute hair color trend for winter
This year was full of new exciting fashion and beauty trends. At the end of the year there is an absolutely timeless, classically elegant hair trend. What is that supposed to mean? The intense brown tone now brings us a lot of glamor and luxury for the coming festive days in December. But the Mocha Chocolate Hair is also the perfect hair style for the new year.
But where does the hair color trend come from and why do we all want it now? Star colorist Jenna Perry created the trendy shade for top model Bella Hadid individually. The glamorous shade of brown is not only reminiscent of fashion icons of the 90s, but also exudes a lot of sex appeal. The shade of brown is relatively intense and dark, but not nearly as heavy as a deep black. And if Emily Ratajkowski has already dipped her hair in mocha chocolate, it is high time to give our hair a classy and sexy glow-up.

About You launches a second collection with Kendall Jenner
The online shop About You presents the second and at the same time biggest drop with supermodel Kendall Jenner, 26. The first AboutYou collection with the supermodel went on sale in July 2021. And because it was so successful, the collaboration is now entering the second round. The autumn / winter collection consists of more than 40 exclusive and limited pieces. In addition to the strong focus on current fashion trends, the collection primarily relies on high-quality materials.
While the individual pieces of clothing were designed based on Kendall’s personal style, the model shows a completely new side that has slumbered in her for ages: Kendall’s childhood dream of the horse ranch. Together with AboutYou, she reminisces on a horse farm in Los Angeles. “I love horses, I’ve always dreamed of living in the middle of nowhere on a ranch with lots of animals,” Kendall said during the shoot. The collection will be available in all About You online shops across Europe from December 4, 2021.

Why fashion candles are now conquering the market
Who says that our fashionable existence ends when we choose our clothes? On the contrary: our wardrobe is just the beginning. Because currently more and more fashionista are relying on designer decoration in their own four walls. And what could be better than a fragrant candle in winter? This season we are given a new opportunity to stay true to our favorite designer in interior design too. Because fashion candles are becoming the new status symbol and decorate coffee table books on living room tables.
Why do we rely on the candles of the countless luxury houses that have jumped on the trend? From well-known names such as Christian Dior or Versace to niche fragrances, the candles by the great designers have one thing in common: they offer us something bigger and more unique than other brands could ever do. The big difference: We don’t buy many of these candles just to see them burn down. Many will never even smell their scent, because some of them are used solely for decoration.
