2024 - C to You: Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine announces the death of a pillar of the show during the summer

While the program C à Vous made its big comeback this Monday, August 29, the presenter of France 5 Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine announced sad news at the end of the program: during the summer, an emblematic cameraman from her team is tragically died.

The return to television programs was made this Monday, August 29. Laughter, anecdotes, camaraderie and holiday stories logically punctuated this launch of the 2022-2023 season on the small screen. But sometimes, summer also has its share of tragic momentsand this is exactly what the teams of C à Vous, the daily talk show on the France 5 channel presented by journalist Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, had to face.

After scanning the summer news with actor Vincent Lindon, viewers noticed that C à Vous had left for a new season with almost no change on the columnist side. Apart from a new short program in the second part called “I was at that!”. In short, France 5 took the same and started again, to the delight of the faithful of the show.

After a few little jokes well brought by Vincent Lindon or the usual chronicles of Mohamed Bouhafsi and Bertrand Chameroy, the tone became more serious on set. Because Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine waited until the very end of her show to pay a nice tribute to a person who shared her daily life for several years: a cameraman who disappeared during the summer.

“The show is dedicated this evening to the memory of Sébastien Amaury, who accompanied us from the beginning of the adventure behind his camera, but always with a smile. We learned of his disappearance at the end of the summer. The whole C à vous team wanted to pay tribute to him tonight., said the host. A sad way to start the year.
