Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine will have to revise his classics. This Friday, March 18, the host received in It’s up to you movie actors The Time of Secrets, adaptation of the eponymous novel by Marcel Pagnol. And as tradition dictates, at the end of the show, guests have the privilege of tasting around the table a dish prepared by a handpicked cook. So to pay tribute this Thursday to the most famous of Marseille authors, the chef of the day had chosen to concoct a dish native to the region.
Unfortunately, when presenting the proposed dish to her guests, Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine made a big mistake. “And on the menu tonight is a bouillabaisse!”, launched the host in a confident tone, imitating the Marseille accent. It was then immediately taken over by Pascal Parisse, the chef of the restaurant Le Cigalon la Treille in Paris. “No, these are package feet (another specialty of Marseille, editor’s note)”, he corrected. An error which caused the hilarity of all the speakers, while for her part, Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine displayed a somewhat crestfallen air.
“Bravo for this bouillabaisse!”
“It’s almost the same, but it’s not the same”, launched the chef with humor. Faced with the little teasing of her comrades, Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine jumped up from her chair. “But I don’t know anything about it! You’re pissing me off!”, she got carried away before trying to justify her mistake to the cook. “Didn’t you tell me earlier that it was a bouillabaisse?”asked the host. “Absolutely not”, retorted the chief. “So why did you decide to make package feet?”, insisted Anne-Éliabeth Lemoine. To which Pascal Parisse replied: “Because it’s the tradition of my restaurant, where we’ve been eating packet feet since 1896″. Just before the latter leaves to let the guests taste his dish, Patrick Cohen still wanted to congratulate him, not without adding a last little layer: “Bravo for this bouillabaisse ““Launched the columnist, once again provoking the laughter of the other speakers.
