(Boursier.com) — In the 1st half of 2022, the turnover of Cabasse was down -9%, at 12.4 ME, compared to the 1st half of 2021 which constituted a very demanding base effect.

Cabasse Group recorded half-year EBITDA of -0.6 ME, impacted by the decline in turnover, the increase in transport costs on the gross margin and the unfavorable change in the euro/dollar parity.

The operating result comes out at -1.4 ME.

Net income stood at -0.8 ME in the 1st half of 2022, an improvement of +0.3 ME compared to the 1st half of 2021.

Given the pressure on purchase prices and the high level of transport costs in the 1st half of 2022, the ambition to move towards the target level of 10% EBITDA margin should rather be achieved in 2023 rather than in 2nd semester 2022.
