Cafom: quarterly turnover driven by e-Commerce activity

(Boursier.com) — The group Cafom, a major player in home equipment in Europe and Overseas, published an unaudited turnover of 113.9 ME for the first quarter of its 2023-2024 financial year (period from October 1, 2023 to 31 December 2023), up +2.8% year-on-year. The quarter was marked by the opening of the Darty Moudong store in Guadeloupe at the end of October 2023, following the move of Darty Jarry, closed in September 2023

In a difficult environment for discretionary consumption, the Overseas division is down -4.5%, while the e-Commerce activity in continental Europe is showing strong growth (+16.5%). , benefiting from a performance described as “remarkable in France and internationally”. Within the division, Vente-unique.com has experienced remarkable growth internationally, where it generates more than half of its sales for the first time.

In accordance with the roadmap, the marketplace will be deployed in the Netherlands and Portugal from March 2024. These openings will help to consolidate Vente-unique.com’s positioning as a global player in the online sale of furniture in Europe.
