On the night of Sunday, previously unknown perpetrators damaged numerous cars and traffic signs in the city of Leoben – witnesses are being sought. The extent of the damage is still unknown.
Between 8 p.m. and around 7.45 a.m., a previously unknown group of perpetrators committed damage to property by kicking the exterior mirrors of cars and traffic signs at several crime scenes in the city of Leoben, as well as attempted damage to property by kicking the side windows of cars. The investigations so far have shown that the strangers had moved on foot from Leoben-Lerchenfeld via the Kreuzfeldweg to the Seegrabenstraße. A total of 20 cases of property damage and five attempts at property damage to cars and traffic signs have been identified along this route. There was property damage of an unknown amount.
