Call of Duty: Activision Confirms Next Warzone Will Be Revealed This Year

Activision-Blizzard today unveiled its latest financial report, an opportunity for the publisher to take stock of the new products to come in its catalog, particularly around the license call of duty. We know that the 2022 episode will be the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, and we expect the title to be talked about this week, but we know less about the new iteration of Warzone, which has already been confirmed in the past by the publisher. The latter precisely slips a word in his last report.

An important year for Call of Duty

When it comes to new Warzone in its report, Activision-Blizzard specifies that this new title should be talked about soon, from 2022:

The new free-to-play Warzone experience, which is built from the ground up alongside the premium game, features game-changing innovations that will be revealed later this year. »

If nothing says for the moment that this new Warzone will be launched this year, we now have confirmation that the title should at least be presented in 2022.

The publisher also takes the opportunity to slip a word on the rest of Modern Warfare 2019which he sees as being ” the most advanced licensing experience whatever that means. In any case, we imagine that this episode will be revealed in broad daylight before Warzone 2 (if you can call it that), which might just be a matter of days.
