A shooter based on the Call of Duty series has been released annually since 2004. Call of Duty Vanguard was last released in November 2021. But this cycle could now be broken for the first time.

So far it’s just a rumor, but the fact that Microsoft is buying Activision could lead to changes in the series. Nevertheless, future Call of Duty games should also appear for PlayStation despite everything.
