Call of Duty, Fallout… Here is the list of all the games that now belong to Microsoft

Microsoft has just put an end to the long process of acquiring Activision Blizzard King that began two years ago now. A key step for the American giant, which now finds itself at the head of numerous licenses. Let’s take stock of this impressive catalog together.

Since this Friday, October 13, 2023, the video game giant Activision-Blizzard-King is officially a subsidiary of a monster of the high-tech industry: Microsoft. Indeed, the Redmond firm has confirmed the acquisition of the American publisher, after a long and complicated process that began more than two years ago.

“And today, we officially welcome Activision Blizzard and its teams to Xbox. They are the publishers of some of the most played and beloved franchises in console, PC and mobile gaming history. From Pitfall to Call of Duty, from World of Warcraft to Overwatch, from Candy Crunch to Farm Heroes Saga, their studios have pushed the boundaries of gaming for gamers everywhere,” said Phil Spencer, the boss of Xbox, in an official press release.

Of course, it will still be several months before we see Call of Duty or other flagship licenses land on Xbox Game Pass. In the case of the king of FPS, however, we imagine that Microsoft will do everything possible to accelerate the pace and offer the license on its gaming service. It must be said that it will be a great selling point for Game Pass.
