Call of Duty: it’s official, the adaptation of Warzone on mobiles will be called Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile

Activision gave us an appointment on September 15 to discover the Multiplayer of Modern Warfare IIthe still curious Warzone 2.0 and the Project Aurora in an event called Call of Duty Next. Project Aurorait was the code name of the adaptation of Call of Duty: Warzone on mobiles on which we know that Solid State, Beenox, Digital Legends and Demoware have been working for months.

The publisher started to teaser more in revealing its official name via a short video showing a huge cargo plane hurtling towards the screen. Attention, prepare your best drum roll and your most beautiful faces of surprised players: Project Aurora will eventually be called… Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. What audacity.

Activision therefore went to the simplest to name the project, of which we will discover more details next Thursday. We must now be careful not to confuse it with Call of Duty: Mobilea successful game which rather adapts the traditional games in Multiplayer of the franchise. It will be offered in free-to-play in the months to come, unlike Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIwhich pays well, which you can pre-order from €64.90 per Fnac ahead of its October 28, 2022 release.
