Call of Duty: Messi, Neymar and Pogba confirmed on Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 and CoD: Mobile

A few weeks ago, several rumors suggested that footballers were going to be introduced in Modern Warfare 2 as Operators. Without too much surprise, this leak was confirmed on November 4, through a tweet from the official account of the license, announcing that these three footballers were going to arrive in the last opus of the license, and much more.

Messi, Neymar and Pogba soon to be playable in Call of Duty

The announcement made in all sobriety tells us that the three footballers, namely Lionel Messi, Neymar and Paul Pogba, will soon arrive in several Call of Duty games. This includes Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0, but also the mobile version of the FPS. We don’t have any additional information on this, and the in-game render has not yet been officially released.

Thereby, the Argentinian, the Brazilian and the French, playing at PSG for the first two and at Juventus for the last, should most likely land on November 16, when the battle royale and season 1 of MW 2 are released. Barring a nice surprise from Activision, these rather original Operators should be available via the battle pass or the store, and therefore impossible to recover for free for those who do not wish to spend money.

We should know more soon enough, as the arrival of Messi, Neymar and Pogba in Call of Duty draws closer.
