Lure your enemies into fiery pits with the new Battle Royale class: Pyromaniac. Able to set flaming tar traps that burn and slow enemy operators who enter the ring of fire. Lasting several seconds each, these traps are great for blocking access to important locations, whether trying to make a clean escape or holding a position against rushing enemies.
The Pyromaniac cannot be hit or slowed by its own traps, and additionally gains increased resistance to fire and explosive damage.
- New Themed Event – Operation: Spy Hunt
Become a spy and be rewarded for the intel you bring back to base in Operation: Spy Hunt, available in Season 8. Collect clues as you fight in Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes, then use those clues to intercept enemy intelligence, earning rewards along the way, such as the Lerch – Detective, GKS – Claw, and Lucky Charm – Servant of Chaos.
Throughout the event, allied informants will change position on the intel board, aiding you in your mission. By intercepting intelligence on one side of the informant, you will get an automatic discount for intercepting intelligence on the other side. Use informants wisely to progress faster.
Special Mission in Battle Royale : When Operation: Spy Hunt is active, you will be tasked with eliminating specific enemies in Battle Royale. Complete the mission to earn additional clues. Focus on the target Operator by performing kills and assists throughout the game, which grants you access to a special tracking ability that will allow you to temporarily locate your target on the map. Note that they will be notified that their location is leaked, so be prepared for a fight.
- New seasonal challenges
Season 8 brings new seasonal challenges that offer rewards such as new weapon blueprints, operator skins, and up to 30,000 Battle Pass EXP. You’ll also have the chance to earn the Espionage Perk and the new melee weapon, the Butterfly Knife, the perfect tool for a stealthy spy. More in-game information throughout the season.
