Here’s some news that should delight some Call of Duty players! It seems that a leak has put the finger on the return of a rather special bonus which should therefore make its arrival in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it is the famous Specialist bonus!
The Specialist bonus soon available in Modern Warfare 2?
Attention, above all, we will never say it enough but the information which will follow is absolutely not official for the moment, and it is about a rumor which was born on the social networks following the publication of a new item. Thus, these statements must be taken with a few tweezers. But, in the weeks to come, it could well be that the situation changes with regard to the assets of Modern Warfare 2.
While the new system has been heavily criticized by players, others have complained about the absence of the specialist bonus yet present in Modern Warfare 2019. However, a recent discovery in the Private Game mode of the Infinity Ward title could suggest that the latter is making a comeback.
It is indeed on the social network Reddit that the user responding to the name of LightsOut16900 shared his recent discovery through the private parts. So, on the screenshot appearing in his post, we can read that regarding the looping elimination streaks, “Killstreaks can be earned multiple times per life“. Nevertheless, there is a note just below that then states “as perks persist within a single life, Specialist streaks cannot be obtained multiple times per life“.
Thus, we clearly have here the mention of this famous Specialist bonus, and it is quite possible that the developers decide to integrate it in the coming daysand maybe even at the launch of season 1 which will take place on November 16th.
What is the specialist bonus?
For those who don’t know what is this famous Specialist bonus, it is in fact a bonus that allows players to take advantage of several additional advantages at the expense of killstreaks. This system was implemented from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and it unlocked when players reached their 7th kill.
Regarding his arrival in Modern Warfare 2, if some are convinced of his return, other players think that this is just a forgotten “piece of text” that the developers would not have corrected. Anyway, we will have our answer in a few days.
