Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Cheaters invade the beta… Penalties will fall!

While cheaters have been around for a few years now in Call of Duty: Warzone, we didn’t have high hopes about their absence in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta. still not definitively released on our consoles and PC, cheaters were indeed present during the beta phasesbut “fortunately for us” shall we say, Activision has decided to take action, again.

The cheaters present in the beta of MW2, Activision is annoyed and punishes

Unfortunately for us, cheaters have become part of our daily lives, at least in FPS games like Call of Duty, and primarily in Raven Software’s Battle Royale. So it came as no surprise to many to see them appear in the Modern Warfare 2 beta, destroying the game experience for anyone who wanted to play legit and normal.

Nevertheless, Activision and Infinity Ward have become aware of this issueand it is through social networks that the studio at the head of Modern Warfare 2 has indeed decided to announce good news.

As the Infinity Ward post states, the development teams began, as of September 25, to take measures against cheaters of all kinds, and we should therefore see a wave of bans appear in the hours to come, with, it is hoped, the deletion of several hundred accounts. However, something quite unfortunate, we have found that cheat sites have already prepared their new software in order to sell them to players who have decided to play in a non-legit way, and to take themselves for progamers behind their AIM Bot and other Wallhack. A question obsesses us all the same, what pleasure do they find in paying this kind of product to cheat in a game? Mystery…

When players confuse AIM Bot and AIM Assist

Recently, another subject was debated during the beta of Modern Warfare 2, it is the AIM Assist. For those who don’t know, this is a system intended for controller players which allows you to have a little help with aiming, since as you know, dexterity is less obvious with a controller than with the keyboard mouse combo. However, while this is normally a small help, some find this system to be far too powerful in Modern Warfare 2, and have not hesitated to call AIM Assist an AIM bot (cheating system).

It remains to be seen whether or not Infinity Ward will decide to adjust the latter before the final release of the game which, we remind you, will appear on October 28th.

Decidedly, despite the expectations of the players, it seems that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta was the target of several frustrations on the part of the players during this second test weekend. If the reasons are numerous, the SBMM has once again been singled out.
