Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 could feature FOV and third-person mode

Although Call of Duty is one of the most popular licenses in the world, console players have been asking for many months, if not more, the addition of a feature exclusive to PC players, the ability to change the FOV. Those on a PC can, in fact, modify their field of vision, increasing it to display more things, or decreasing it. It could be that the feature is finally coming to consoles.

Indeed, when the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta kicked off, several users went to the game files and found a note about the FOV slider. This may therefore imply that console players, at least on PS5 and Xbox Series, will soon be able to modify their field of vision on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. At the start of the year, the developers had indicated that they were not working on functionality (on Warzone), to avoid performance issues, that’s why the FOV slider might be exclusive to the current console generation.

But this is not all in the radius of interesting discoveries, since the beta files also mention a third person field of view. Could the Call of Duty license offer modes leaving aside the first person view? Or will players be able to switch between FPS and TPS on the fly, as was the case in PUBG or H1HZ1 back in the day?

In the meantime, remember that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta allows you to collect exclusive rewards, in addition to giving you the opportunity to play the game in advance.
