Yes, it’s a cold shower for some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players. While the developers had announced the arrival of the CDL Moshpit mode for this season 1 in order to warm up before the release of the real Ranked, the latter was the conspicuous absentee from this launch, which was highly anticipated by the community.
The CDL Moshpit mode will arrive, but with a delay!
Rest assured ! Whether CDL Moshpit mode is currently not available, the developers are doing everything to make it accessible as soon as possible. Indeed, the latter was to make its appearance day one, but it was unfortunately without counting on the many bugs that it presented. Thereby, Treyarch, which is the studio in charge of this special mode for Modern Warfare 2, wanted to speak out through social networks to reassure players.
Thus, we therefore understand that the CDL Moshpit mode has become the priority for the developers, and we should not have too long to wait before seeing it land in Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer. As a reminder, the latter will be set up so that all those who wish to train before the arrival of Ranked can do so in a more serious way. Unfortunately at the time of writing these lines, we do not really know the content of the latter, but it will not be long.
Ranked available in 2023
Regarding the Ranked, also known as the Ranked Game, it will therefore appear definitively during the year 2023. However, we still do not have a release window.
On the other hand, the developers have already given some interesting details about what we will have: several competitive game modes with divisions based on player rank, a statistics system, a leaderboard of the top 250 players (a classification with a table), and of course rewards.
Thing to know if you are on Call of Duty: Vanguard or Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: the Ranked mode will no longer be available on these two titles from the moment it appears in the Infinity Ward title. But the developers will certainly communicate more about this.
