Formalized a little before the summer of 2022, some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players can already play game campaign. But then, why do they have access to it and not others? What is the real release date of the Infinity Ward title?
Bad news if you haven’t pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2!
If you see some of your friends already playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 single-player campaign, it’s for a very simple reason: they pre-ordered the game. ! Yes, exceptionally this year and for the first time in the history of the Call of Duty license, those who have pre-ordered the game in digital version, and whatever the edition of the latter but also whatever the support (PlayStation, Xbox or PC), had early access to the campaign.
Thereby, Modern Warfare 2’s Story mode opened its doors on October 20 at 7 p.m. French timeenough to leave a good week before Multiplayer and all its modes officially land!
On the other hand, and unfortunately, if you haven’t pre-ordered the game, you’ll have to wait a few more days before they can find Ghost, Soap, Price across Mexico and Al Mazrah. Indeed, the campaign, as well as the multiplayer and all its many modes will be available on October 28th.
What we know from the campaign early access!
As we were telling you, it was last night that the Modern Warfare 2 campaign opened its doors for all those who pre-ordered the game. Thus, new information has been revealed, information lifting the veil in particular on the weight of the game and its different packs through the PS4 and PS5 consoles. Here is this information that might be of interest to those who do not yet have the game (just to make a little space on your consoles):

Obviously, these sizes are not final since in the future, the title of Infinity Ward will benefit from several updates with in particular the different seasons that it will offer to the players. Besides, it is very unlikely that Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will only be 2.5 or even 3 GB.
