Unfortunately for Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, at least its beta, was met with less than a half-hearted welcome from gamers. The reasons for this are multiple, including quite serious problems such as the mini-map, the visibility of enemies, or even, the Cancel Slide that was removed from the gameplaythus preventing players from taking advantage of the non-stop tactical sprint.
Yes, but here it is despite this readjustment on the part of the developers, it took little time for players to find a new way to take advantage of this famous tactical sprint which then makes it possible to go much faster, and this in an almost permanent way.
Endless Tactical Sprint returns to Modern Warfare 2
Often pointed out by the community, the slide cancel mechanic has been the reason for several controversies for a long time, and the reason for this is thate the latter allowed to take advantage of the tactical sprint to infinity, a non-negligible speed boost you have to admit it.
For Modern Warfare 2, the developers decided to remove the slide cancel, but it was without counting on the community which was bound to find another way to have access in an almost infinite way to the tactical sprint, and it is indeed on the social networks that we were able to discover that the player answering to the name of Crowder, who is none other than Atlanta coach FaZefound a solution to take advantage of it.
His technique? A simple little jump also called in the middle “bunny hop”, just after having made a jump, a jump which therefore allows the tactical sprint to be reset as it sees fit in order to be able to spam the sprint. Normally, you have to wait a few seconds before you can reuse it, but as his technique demonstrates, the simple jump allows you to reset it instantly.
Good or bad news, we absolutely do not know if the developers will decide to patch this trick or if they will leave it as is and permanently when the game is released on October 28th.
Modern Warfare 2 coming soon
As a reminder, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC consoles from October 28th.. Nevertheless, for those who have pre-ordered the game, early access to the campaign will be available, and it is therefore on October 20 that they will be able to discover this famous story, with Captain Price and the Task Strength 141.
