Call of Duty: Paid premium content will arrive well in 2023

At the beginning of this year 2022, several rumors stipulated that no Call of Duty game would be released in 2023. This is what journalist Jason Schreier had declared in February. At the time, Activision responded to these rumors by stating, ” we have an exciting program of premium and free-to-play Call of Duty experiences, for this year, next year and beyond “.

Via their recent tax report, published at the beginning of August, Activision has confirmed that paid premium content will arrive well in 2023, and the following years, for the franchise. For the moment, Activision has, unfortunately, not provided more details on this subject. Thus, we do not yet know what it is, precisely. This content could turn out to be brand new Call of Duty, but it could also be paid DLC for one of the previously released titles, or even for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2 .

Therefore, we should wait for a new official communication from Activision, in order to know more about this subject. Of course, as soon as more details become available, we will keep you informed.

Let us remember, finally, that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due out on October 28. The title will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Note that you can already pre-order the game, which offers two different editions. All the details can be found in this dedicated guide.

Warzone 2.0 should arrive at the end of 2022, and more precisely after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and before December 31.
