Better late than never. After Warzone, a few months ago, Call of Duty: Vanguard welcomes, finally, the anti-cheat system specific to the franchise, supposed to drastically reduce the number of cheaters, which are, unfortunately, too numerous. Activision announced that RICOCHET would be available from April 27 in the latest Call of Duty opus.
The version that is added to Vanguard is, of course, the most recent and therefore includes all the improvements made since by the teams working on it. Other updates will be added over time, to make RICOCHET a perfect anti-cheat system. Note that what was put on Warzone, to mitigate the impact of cheaters on the battlefield, should also be available for Vanguard. For example, proven cheaters in the middle of the game can see their bullets inflict no damage on opponents, so that they leave the game as quickly as possible.

Let’s hope RICOCHET’s arrival on Call of Duty: Vanguard isn’t too late, and that some players can return to the game, without fear of seeing their game be ruined. Let’s also hope that Activision implements RICOCHET as soon as the next episode is launched, which will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to that of 2019. We should also have the first information very quickly, confirming the return of Ghost.
