If Call of Duty: Warzone first of the name holds the famous gulaggulag in which we are given the right to have a second chance to leave in-game but in which we must necessarily win a 1v1 against another player, that of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be very different from what we know today. Everything you need to know about the Warzone 2.0 Gulag
It was indeed during Call of Duty Next on September 15 that we were able to discover for the first time Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and all its new features including the Gulag. Unlike Warzone, this one has been completely revised, but before explaining all the new features of the latter, it is good to remember what the gulag is in Warzone and what it is exactly for.
In the Battle Royale, if we have the possibility of reviving our allies, we can also buy them through a buy station, but they can also get away with going to the test of the Gulag. This test comes when we die for the first time in the game, and we must then, as we were able to tell you a little above, face another player who has also fallen in battle. To defend ourselves: a weapon given automatically (submachine gun, shotgun, pistol or even assault rifle), as well as flash type equipment or even stun grenades.
We have a few seconds to be able to kill the enemy and/or reach the flag located in the center of the room before the time runs out, and if we succeed we can return to the game in order to join our team, but with for only weapon the one we had in the gulag.
Now that you know what this ordeal is, the Gulag will indeed look a lot different in Warzone 2.0. In addition to offer an XXL size, no more 1v1 duels and room for 2v2 confrontations. In the new Battle Royale, players will indeed have to team up with another player, but this one will not be part of his team. That is to say that they will have to form a duo with a member of an opposing team to succeed in killing the two other people who will be in front.
Moreover, as far as weapons are concerned, they will be looted directly on the ground, and unlike the first Warzone of the name, there will be several. The same goes for tactical and lethal equipment.
The Jailer’s Trial
If you thought we were done with the Warzone 2.0 Gulag, think again. If we will have the right to a “classic” version, there will nevertheless be another way of getting by with the so-called jailer’s test. This one will be an AI, and this AI will do anything to defend itself if you approach it.
Nevertheless, if you manage to kill this bot, it will drop a key which will then allow you to open a door and then be able to leavewithout having to kill the players in front.
As you will have understood, in addition to having an XXL format gulag, that of Warzone 2.0 will be completely new, and we can’t wait to meet there to live this new experience.
