Call of Duty: Warzone 2 would have similarities with the Blackout mode

Activision officially declared working on a new version of call of duty warzone, his wildly popular free-to-play Royale Bat. The publisher has also promised us that this new Warzone would be revealed this year, likely to accompany the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. And that’s about all Activision is willing to say on the subject for now, but many insiders are already starting to reveal some information.

Real changes for Warzone 2?

Many details come to us today from a video posted by NerosCinema, which claims to have information on this Warzone 2 (or whatever it’s called) thanks to a source that allegedly played this new episode.

According to the details shared, this Warzone 2 would have a lot in common with the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4more than with the Warzone original. Which means that the map would combine several maps from old episodes to form one. We would also be entitled to a more limited inventory, while the weapon classes would now have to be recovered from strongholds (and would therefore be more difficult to access).

If all that is told here is to be taken with tweezers, the insider Tom Henderson, who rightly revealed Modern Warfare 2 before anyone else, supports this testimony and its veracity, at least in large part:

I’m not going to beat around the bush, but that’s largely true. I guess there are discrepancies because the source can’t remember the exact details… But yeah, there’s an abundance of internal leaks, it seems. »

Henderson also reveals that the Terminal, Afghan, Highrise and Quarry maps would once again be present and integrated into the map of Warzone 2. It is not yet known when this episode could be shown, but Henderson thinks it will be after the presentation of Modern Warfare 2which is expected to arrive in early June.
