US pop star announces new album for June

Two years after the release of her last album, Camila Cabello fans can look forward to new music from their favorite star.
After Camila Cabello (27) released the first single from her new album “C, XOXO” in March with “I Luv It” (feat. Playboi Carti) and later performed the song together with her colleague Lana Del Rey (38) at Coachella Festival performed in a duet, she is now quitting announced the release date of her latest work on Instagram.

As she tells her current 65.7 million followers, the new record will be released on June 28, 2024. Along with this information, she apparently also published the cover of the new album, on which the singer, who went from brunette to platinum blonde, can be seen with a bright blue lollipop. She is not yet sharing any further details.
“C, XOXO” is Cabello’s fourth studio album. Her debut “Camila” was released in 2018, followed by “Romance” in 2019 and its direct predecessor, “Familia”, was released around two years ago.
The somewhat cryptic title of the album, “C, XOXO”, is probably the first letter of her name and a common farewell phrase in English that is often used in text messages. The X usually stands for a kiss, the O for a hug – or together the whole thing stands for “hugs and kisses”.
