Camila Cabello showed up to Paris Fashion Week in a ski mask. The extreme look has a meaning for her.
Will Camila Cabello, 27, start a new trend with this appearance? The singer appeared at the Vetements show in Paris in a sexy outfit – and with a mask.
The musician paired a black miniskirt and a lace bodysuit with a black Vetements ski mask, which completely covered her face except for her eyes and mouth. Waist-length black hair wavy underneath. Cabello obviously didn’t want to go without earrings – she simply hung the long diamond earrings on the right and left of her knitted mask.
The rest of the outfit was also an eye-catcher: Cabello emphasized her legs with black high heels that were tied around the ankles. She also wore a full black coat and black lace gloves. Apparently Cabello wanted to stand out at the show, which she managed to do with this outfit despite strong competition from Travis Scott, 33, Gigi Hadid, 29, Bella Thorne, 26, and Heidi Klum, 51.
The girl gang energy of the ski mask
However, it wasn’t the first time that the singer resorted to a ski mask. In an album trailer for her long player “C,XOXO”, which was released in 2024, she also posed with her girl gang in pink ski masks. The inspiration for this comes from the film “Spring Breakers,” in which her good friend Selena Gomez, 32, starred, among others. In the film, a group of girls wearing ski masks rob a restaurant. The singer explained in an interview in June that the “girl gang energy like the ‘Spring Breakers’ girls in the ski masks” felt empowering to her. And further: “It’s like tapping into this dangerous side of yourself.”
She also refers to this feeling with her latest fashion appearance. She posted pictures of her front row look in Paris on Instagram and wrote with reference to the film: “Real Miami Girl in Paris”.
